Dumfries Council's meeting room is an example of a much more complex project. Far from being flat, the roof is arched and includes various support and ventilation features. The traditional roofing materials were at the end of their useful life and had been patched on numerous occasions.

When applied, the Topseal GRP roofing system is totally flexible and able to conform to the shape of any architectural feature. However, once applied the material hardens and forms a continuous solid roof structure that will give many years of service. The material is essentially the same as that used in the construction of many boats and has been used for over 50 years with no sign of deterioration.
